Trick or Drink SMS Program
These terms cover the Trick or Drink text message program (the “SMS Program”). Trick or Drink is a program of 1000183181 Ontario Inc, operating as Bar Crawl Connect (“Trick or Drink”, “we”, “us”). By opting in you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
This is a marketing and event program. When you opt in, you agree to receive recurring automated text messages that can include:
Consent to receive texts is not a condition of buying a ticket, and you can buy any ticket without joining the SMS Program.
You join by entering your mobile number in an opt-in form on our website and ticking the consent box, which is unchecked by default. The box reads:
“I agree to receive recurring automated marketing text messages (ticket release alerts, crawl-night updates, venue changes and reminders) from Trick or Drink at the number provided. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Msg & data rates may apply; message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.”
We keep a record of every opt-in, including the number, the date and time, the page it came from, and the exact wording shown to you at that moment. We never buy, rent or share phone number lists, and we do not add anyone who has not opted in themselves.
Message frequency varies. Most messages cluster around a ticket release or in the days around a crawl you are attending. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan. Contact your carrier for details. We do not charge a fee for the SMS Program.
Opt out any time: reply STOP to any message and you will be unsubscribed. You may receive one final message confirming it. Under Canada’s anti-spam legislation (CASL) this stays valid for at least 60 days after any message we send, we action it within 10 business days, and it costs you nothing.

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your carrier, your device and network conditions, and is not guaranteed. Do not rely on SMS alone for time-critical crawl information; the live crawl map on this site is always current.
You confirm that you are the account holder for the mobile number you provide, or that you have the account holder’s permission, and that you will tell us if you give up that number. Our crawls are 19+ in Ontario and valid government photo ID is checked at the door.
Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and why. In short: no mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, your opt-in data is never sold, and it is shared only with the vendors who deliver the messages on our behalf.
We may update these terms. The current version always lives at this page with the effective date above, and material changes will be communicated through the SMS Program or our website.
